Germany has always been an important country when it comes to metal zines. Even nowadays in the era of ubiquitous webzines there are still a lot of paper zines worth to be checked out. Recently I could get in my hands the last issue of Temple of Adoration 'zine. The 8th issue was released in December 2011. It's old school cut'n'paste typewritten zine with a lot of
interesting chats and articles from the deepest underground abyss. The real pearl of the zine is an interview with Curriculum Mortis - bestial thrashers from Peru. This is old intie originally printed in Peruvian Deaththrasher mag in 1989. Other talks with Nuit Noire, Enslaver, Warpath, Necrobutcher and Desacration of God prod are also interesting and quite informative but in my opinion they should be a bit longer and more in deeph. The interesting thing is there are no intierviews with German bands and only one (Nuit Noire) European. I was really curious why Phil didn't speak with German bands so I asked him about it: 'I made interviews with German bands / guys in my past zines such as Zarathustra, Har Shatan, Necromancer Records, Grabschänder... I always had european bands in general in one way or another present in my fanzine'. So probably the lack of German bands in this number was just a coincidence and we can expect more of them in next issue(s).
